Absolutely- absolutely not

Abolutes

The more I delve into absolutes I find them crumbling
and through their crumbling I find the used to be absolutes
used to make me absolutely questioning absolutes
How can it be that my absolute absolutely contradicts your absolute absolutely?
Is there absolutely absolutes?
Is there absolutely no absolutes? And if so, the existence of no absolute absolves the existence of an absolute
therefore making it a question with no absolute answer

yet the Universe is still held together by some unhanging substance that no one seems to quite agree on

and I am lead by a force with a face that even its shadow melts my being
While at the same time a reflection of this force

I was created with the same dust that I build my ever crumbling castle in the sand

my hopes and aspirations are washed away by the same water
that comprises most of my physical body

I build my dreams with the stars that ever dissolve in space
quickly forgotten and replaced with the realization that many other stars-dreams exist

How is it that the very things I possess that will bring me the most pleasure
or the greatest fame
will be the very thing that will lead to the death of me
the birth of me the death of me

I die a thousands deaths
only mourning those which I did not initiate myself
For to die is to gain
Yet to gain that which was never mine is a death I cannot bear to die

Feast on that which I have produced
for it was pollenated for you
I can no longer live this segmented life where I choose who I will bless
My existence was meant for the Nations.

My absolutes which are your absolutely nots are both absolutes
And in this I find my peace
Absolutely- absolutely not

promises that were never mine

Holding onto promises that were never mine I find myself continually wanting
Full retribution can never be paid to a new generation
Yet the curses of oppression can be claimed in full with interest if so desired
Holding onto promises that were never mine I find myself misguided losing focus
Purpose and intent seem trivial when the reassurance of tomorrow is lost
Finding oneself not knowing if any promise can be claimed as their own
Holding onto promises that were never mine I find myself creating a god within me
Rather than letting the God within me fulfill His promise through me
A wish is not a promise
Neither is desire destiny

( Deferred hope originates from a place of claiming a promise never yours. In pursuit of this stolen promise.. we forget to pursue that which we already have. )

The womb

"The part of a woman that men can touch, but never own, can desire but not control;the womb" This quote speaks of a physical womb, but I believe has much to say for our spiritual state. When I think of the attributes of a woman I think of life, creativity, imagination, long suffering, and beauty. All things are adjectives for reproductive organs in the female form. Man can be attributed for strength, support, order, discipline, or the completion of a desire or goal. When we think of God , we often use male attributes to describe Him or understand Him. Yet we as mere mortals (man) cannot be overcome by mystery and majesty lest we acknowledge His very feminine qualities. How much more magnificent for human kind when the barrier of infertility of the human race was removed( the veil in the temple) and mankind was extended the invitation to eternal life, the ultimate consumation of a relationship? More on this thought to follow........

Favor is deceitful

1. Proverbs 31:30-31 "Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a
woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the
fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates."

Breakdown layout:
1.Read Scripture
2. Favor
3. Vanity
4. Fearing God
5. The fruit of the righteous
6. Praise in the gates
7. Conclusion

2. Favor:

Favor is a very worldly concept. It deals with the hear and now! We all know that things can change in an instant. Because favor is strictly present based, it binds us in the present and distracts us from where we should be going. Yes God does give us favor is certain things by making a way for us however, when we look at favor in society it is out of competitiveness not community. It is out of want not need.

Favor is the false perception that someone else is better. The reason that favor is deceitful is because it places others above and/or below us. God never intended us to compare where others are at or be so concerned with stature that we forget who we are as women and who we are as women in God.

Definitions: Favor

1.something done or granted out of goodwill, rather than from justice or for remuneration; a kind act: to ask a favor.

2.friendly or well-disposed regard; goodwill: to win the favor of the king.

3.the state of being approved or held in regard: to be in favor at court; styles that are now in favor.

Definitions: Deceit

the act or practice of deceiving; concealment or distortion of the truth for the purpose of misleading; duplicity; fraud;

3. Vanity
So many people, especially women are always vying to be the best, the favorite. From this mindset comes pride. Vanity is close linked with pride ...it is in the same family. Pride is the opposite of humility. Humility is the greatest attribute that you can give to God other than your faith and love for Him. Yet others' Proxy-Connection: keep-alive
Cache-Control: max-age=0

ide often decreases our own self esteem. This response is false and dangerous to beauty.

Definitions: Vanity

1.excessively proud of or concerned about one's own appearance, qualities, achievements, etc.; conceited: a vain dandy.
One of the biggest burdens to God is that we don't trust in him.

2. without real significance, value, or importance; baseless or worthless.

Now beauty is used to define us in the physical realm. It breaks us down into titles, categories and messes up our perception of God in us. If you fear God, then you allow Him to move in you because you are humbled...you have accepted enough humility into your life to trust in His ways and His desires for you - not solely your ways and your wants.

4. Fearing God
Definition: Fear

1. a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid.
.
If we don't have anything to fear then we must not have anything to loose. But if we don't fear God we have everything to loose. Our minds, our sense of purpose, our families, our friends, our dreams, our prosperity and so on. We are His children and He is the father. a righteous woman understands her role in God.

5. The fruit of righteousness

This is the fruit . The righteous will not be forsaken...that is why growing into your work and your gifts will bear bountiful fruit. Those that labor righteously will reap blessings and praises everyday.
6. Praise at the gates

And when retirement time comes , it will be you who will be able to cash in on all the seeds that have been sown. God will welcome those who understand this fruit...understand their purpose. Moving in and walking your true gifts is its own reward.

I pray that each person acknowledges what their own works are and the importance of balance between favor and humility.

Ambition

Where does your ambition lead you?
Without ambition, you can not go forward
Where does that lead...leave..... lead in your shoe, lead you?

The Power of Patience

In our fast paced world who has time for patience. Everything is go, go, go and nobody has a minute to stop and breathe. One of the greatest gifts that you can give someone is your attention. However, without patience there is no attention. Patience shows up in many different situations and affects people in many different ways. For most, the energy that it takes to be patient is far greater than the energy that it takes to be inpatient. There is great power in patience and even greater power in applying it. Being patience is a conscious decision, and being consistently patient takes practice. All the effort that you put into things is practically useless without patience. Impatience is the framework for failure, but patience is the foundation for success.
